The Eagle [older issues]

Will we be archiving issues of the newsletter from before 2755 (2002)? I've got quite the collection, if they're not available on-site. It was called the Eagle or the Nova Roma Eagle back then.

Update: Eagle issues for 2757 (2004) are archived on M Minucius Audens' site: livinghistoryengineer.com; those for 2758 (2005) are on the old NR site. I have not yet encountered anything from earlier. -- Marius Peregrinus 04:38, 15 August 2007 (CEST)

In response to your question regarding "Eagle" issues prior to "2002"; It is my intention to put all "Eagle" articles on this site that do not have copyright concerns.

You may forward those "Eagle" articles that you have in your possession to me for review. Then I can sort them out, determine which ones I want, which ones I don't want, and those which have copyright considerations.

You may send them pdf to:

MarcusAudens@yahoogroups.com

When I have completed my review I shall be pleased to return them to you fully intact.

Respectfully;

Marcus Audens Editor Commentorium Senorie

I do not have them in electronic format, and cannot readily render them so. What I do have are the old printed Eagles, beginning with the month (or two?) before I joined Nova Roma and ending when my subscription did, shortly after my departure. I can send you those if you're interested; but they are also mission-critical for my own project. (I suspect, however, that you'll be done with them before I am ready to resume!) <g>
I did transcribe Issue IV, 2000 in its entirety, and parts of Issue III, 2000 onto the Wiki as part of my project. You can add them to the same category as the rest of the Wikified Eagles and Aquilae to make them more accessible. -- Marius Peregrinus 09:31, 12 December 2007 (CET)
Thanks for reminding me. I have added them to the category. Agricola 09:52, 12 December 2007 (CET)

Copyright Issues

Moving the Eagle to the Wiki is being held up by the uncertain copyright status of many of the articles. Many authors have left Nova Roma, making the permission problem very difficult. Agricola 05:12, 15 August 2007 (CEST).

We are moving ahead now with the fiction that was written by Senator Audens. Agricola 09:52, 12 December 2007 (CET)
