OPPIDUM APPLICATION

Gnaeus Iulius Caesar will issue an edict establishing an Oppidum within the municipal boundaries of Edmonton.

Current status: Gnaeus Iulius Caesar has determined, after consultation, that the creation of the oppidum will have to be delayed until one or more of our probationary citizens in Edmonton completes the 90 day waiting period and passes the test. Probationary citizens probably should not be counted towards the minimum number of citizens required due to their lack of political rights. Although the law does not specifically speak to this issue, being enacted prior to the introduction of the probationary period, it is prudent to wait until they attain full citizen rights.

PROVINCIAL FLAG

Gaius Vipsanius Agrippa has undertaken to try to find a supplier who will manufacture the provincial flag.

Current status: A possible supplier has been located in Edmonton and the details will be reviewed at the next provincial meeting.

PROVINCIAL MEDAL

Gnaeus Iulius Caesar has undertaken to try to find a supplier who will manufcature a provincial medal. This will not be coinage or carry Nova Roman trademarked devices, but rather commemorate a significant event in Roman history. A proportion of any net profits would be donated to the province and/or the Nova Roman treasury.

Current status: A possible supplier has been located in Edmonton and examples of their work have been provided and these will be reviewed at the next provincial meeting.
