Maine is organized as the Regio Cenomania subdivision of Provincia Nova Britannia. Cenomania is the Latin name of Maine, named after a region of Gallia (France) inhabited by the Gallic tribe called the Cenomani. This territory of America got its name after that area of France.

Regio Cenomania is the corporate center of Nova Roma where our res publica is legally incorporated as a nonprofit. This makes Regio Cenomania a special part of Nova Roma, but it does not enjoy any special rights within Nova Roma, because our ceremonial and symbolic homeland is not Maine but Italy.

THE TEMPLE OF BRIGANTIA
