Since Nova Roma citizens live all over the world, we often keep in touch through a large number of official and unofficial Mailing lists. Many of the other groups mentioned on this page also have their own mailing lists.

Macellum - the marketplace

The Ordo Equester (the Equestrian Order) is Nova Roma's entrepreneurial class. They, along with selected affiliates, have shops in our macellum, the Nova Roma marketplace.

Campus Martius - Military reenactments

People from across the world have for decades come together to reenact historical military and civilian life at various periods in time. A large number of these are dedicated to the Roman era. The level of historical detail required varies from Legion to Legion, and some engage in mock combat while others display their prowess at period drill and camp life. Academia Thules - Our first university

The Academia Thules ad Studia Romana Antiqua et Nova is a new experiment in education. There you will find several courses centered on ancient Roman culture and on the modern organisation of Nova Roma. Academia Thules is not an accredited institution.

Sodalitates - Special Interest Groups

Several sodalitates, or associations, exist within Nova Roma for the discussion of topics of special interest to Nova Roma citizens. Most of these sodalitates have web sites and mailing lists of their own. Any citizen may be a member of any sodalitas, and non-citizens often participate in their mailing lists as well.
