Cn. Lentulus is practicioner of the Religio Romana, he practiced it long before he knew Nova Roma. It is a very important element in his Romanitas. Since January 1, 2759 he is Provincial Sacerdos of Pannonia, the first one in the modern age since Romans left that province.

Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus in the Album Civium

In his country, Hungary, Cn. Lentulus is a graduate student of classical studies in the most important Hungarian university (ELTE) where he deals with Latin and Greek languages, Roman history, literature, philosophy, religion and ancient cultures; so he knows something about these matters and what Romanitas is.

Since his childhood he felt Roman. When he was 16 he assumed the name Cn. Cornelius Lentulus together with his white toga virilis long before he knew Nova Roma, and decided to live as a Roman and to do anything he could go nearer to the ancient Rome with. Later he founded a Roman harmonist association, the Consociatio Hungarica Ad Rem Romanam Reficiundam, and he dreamed that someday he will find many people who think similarly to him and want to restore the Roman Republic.

...And, on Aprile 21 two years ago, he found Nova Roma. His provincia, Pannonia was in the worst condition at the time, so he decided to reorganize and make it a real community. On the 1 April, 2758 the Senate appointed him as Propraetor of Pannonia and he started his work. Now he performs his third term in this magistracy.

Cn. Lentulus is practicioner of the Religio Romana, he practiced it long before he knew Nova Roma. It is a very important element in his Romanitas. Since January 1, 2759 he is Provincial Sacerdos of Pannonia, the first one in the modern age since Romans left that province.

Lentulus is not member of any political allience. He is a wholehearted republican, his ideals in the Roman political life are M. Tullius Cicero, P. Cornelius Lentulus Spinther, Q. Lutatius Catulus, M. Porcius Cato, L. Papirius Cursor, P. Cornelius Scipio and men thinking that way. Lentulus believes the total reconstruction of Rome as much as possible and reasonable.
