Gaius Ambrosius Artorus Iustinus
Album Civium

C. Ambrosius Artorus Iustinus is a former Legate of Montes Saxosi (Colorado and Utah), as well as a former flamen of Volturnus and former priest of Neptunus.

He became a citizen of Nova Roma in 2003 as Gaius Iulius Iustinus. In 2004 he was adopted into gens Ambrosia, becoming briefly Gaius Ambrosius Artorius Iulianus, and later Gaius Ambrosius Artorus Iustinus. In 2010 he regularized his name in its present form.

Iustinus lives in Denver, Colorado. He earned a B.A. (Medieval Studies) and a J.D. He is currently working toward an M.A. in History. He owns Shining Lotus Metaphysical Bookstore, and serves on the board of directors of Coalition of Visionary Resources, a national trade organization. He is a lifelong student of the Stoic philosophers.

Like many Nova Romans, Iustinus can trace his ancestry to the Gallo-Roman nobility of the 4th and 5th centuries of the Common Era, and through them to many ancient Roman families, including the Aurelii and Iulii. His sister Camilla Ambrosia Artora Callista is also a citizen of Nova Roma.
