Would life overall be simpler if we had a preference for Latin page names, when possible? Of course we would still have redirects from the vernacular, but the languagebar could use PAGENAME. We could have, for example, "Dii Indigites" rather than "Native Gods" and so forth. I'm not sure that we would really get very much benefit, strictly speaking, but it seems like something we ought to promote.

Sadly, my Latin is too weak to be able to provide such titles on short notice, and that's probably true of most people involved.  But where we do know the Latin title, then I agree, it should be the default - see Comitia Curiata (Nova Roma) and FR:Comitia Curiata (Nova Roma) as an example.  Marcus Octavius Germanicus<font color="green" size="-2">(t)</font> 22:53, 10 April 2006 (CDT)

Would life overall be simpler if we had a preference for Latin page names, when possible? Of course we would still have redirects from the vernacular, but the languagebar could use Language Policies.
