Lentulus held a short lecture about the history and significance of the Roman Saturnalia. Next was a Roman fashion show, demonstration of Roman clothes. Visitors could try out how to put on a, tunica, toga or lacerna.

The religious celebrations of the Saturnalia of Nova Roma begun with a solemn procession, ''[[pompa]]'', of the regional government: the ''legatus pro praetore'', accompanied by ''praefectus regionis'' [[Gaius Villius Vulso (Nova Roma)|C.
