===Introduction===

The ''Censorial Board of Latin Examiners'', or better still, the ''Collegium Censorium Examinatorum Latinorum'' was originally established in {{2024}} under the edict ''[[Praefectus_rei_publicae_administrandae_(Nova_Roma)#Edictum_Praefecti_Rei_Publicae_Administrandae_de_Collegio_Censorio_Examinatorum_Latinorum|Edictum Praefecti Rei Publicae Administrandae de Collegio Censorio Examinatorum Latinorum]]''.

According to the ''[[Lex Cornelia Domitia de re publica constituenda (Nova Roma)|lex Cornelia Domitia de re publica constituenda]]'', article IV.A.1, in the absence of the censors, it is the duty of the consuls to supervise the Censorial Office and its duties, and under the consuls' supervision, the praefectus rei publicae administrandae shall directly administer the album civium, which includes decisions about censorial decisions of Census Points allocations for Latin knowledge. In the absence of a valid degree or other official paper about a citizen's Latin knowledge, it shall be the duty of the Censorial Board of Latin Examiners to determine the level of Latin of the citizen who is requesting Census Points for this knowledge, as stipulated by the ''lex Arria de censu civium aestimando''.
