It is with great pleasure that I appoint T Labienus Fortunatus as scribe to assist me in the office of censor suffectus. Fortunatus has demonstrated, during our tenure as rogatores and later in the Senate, great diligence and clarity of thought. His chief tasks will be to help in writing the censors handbook and to improve the format of data in the censorial alba. I hope that everyone here will welcome him in this new assignment.
