Yes. Actually it is forged in the same damascus technique as the romans used
it. No layer or indian damscus, which was unknown to the romans.
Best, Caius.

At a recent lecture about Pompeii I heard about an architect by the name of
Rubirius. Can anyone help me find some biographical information about him?

Salvete Pontifices!

While pondering over the constitutionality of this decree I came up
with one question for clarification:

What exactly is a senatorial decree?

>
> III. A magistrate who violates the clause and the warning, may be
removed from office by Senatorial decree before any hearing may be
conducted. Failure of such a decree, shall mean the magistrate will
not be tried while sitting, but at end of his term shall immediately
be subject to his hearing.

Salve,

That's great news. While right now the hat incident isn't amusing,
it will make great telling at the appropriate moments down the road.

For you all, sorry there is a little error in the for-mail, the

Subject: [Nova-Roma] Aerarium Saturni
From: StarVVreck@aol.com
Date: Fri, 7 Mar 2003 14:17:14 EST
Salvete Novi Romani,

I believe that I speak for the majority of Nova Romans; It is essential to
keep the documents in the Aerarium Saturni up to date to ensure legitimacy,
more so than ever now that we are collecting taxes (I did pay taxes last
year!). Now that we are levying a tax for citizens to remain assidui there
is more money coming into Nova Roma than ever before. This makes it
imperitive to keep the Aerarium Saturni documents current so that more Nova
Romans will maintain confidence in Nova Roma and tax revenues may continue to
increase. Currently the documents in the Aerarium Saturni are painfully
out-of-date.

Valete,

Iulius Titinius Antonius

Salve Honorable Iulius Titinius Antonius!

I absolutely agree with You that these texts should be there.

The Senate approved this years revised Budget about 9 days ago. I
have asked my Quaestor to send that document for update within a
week, I expect to see it there soon. Still my Quaestor Illustrus
Sextus Apollonius Scipio has terrible problems with his health so it
could take afew days more. Please be patient.

I will also look into the issue of the older texts and see when them
may be published.
