Salve,

As far as I know when someone is placed on modarated
status they recieve a E-Mail telling them why they
have been modarated.

There are times when Yahoo Groups is very slow about
getting posts into the lists, and during these problem
times some people have more trouble than others,
However a 5 Minute delay isn't unusual at the best of
times.

The Praetors are responsible for this list, so you may
want to contact them if you have any questions.

You are not on moderated status. Yahoo Groups does occasionally take
quite a while to accept and return messages. There have been times when
I would post to Yahoo lists and *never* receive my message in my inbox,
though the list archives would contain my messages. Every so often,
there is a delay of days before a message of mine actually makes it to a
Yahoo list. I expect that you are encountering this sort of problem.

You do realize that you've just called me a liar, don't you? All I can
say in response is that gaiusgalerius@hotmail.com is not flagged as
being on moderated status when I look at the members of this list.
According to Yahoo's online moderation tools, you have full posting and
file privileges. This status has not changed between now and the last
time I told you that you weren't being moderated.

I agree, in general. I give you my word that you are not being
moderated by the praetores and their scribae.

Salve Galeri Peregrinator,

Let's settle this real quick now! Perhaps you misunderstood what I wrote. I
didn't say that I had you on moderated status. In fact, when I went to
change things, your file already had you listed as not being on moderated
status. I went back and _*!ENSURED!*_ that you were NOT on moderated status.
So no, you are not on moderated status, and yes, I can state that as a fact,
and yes, I checked, three times, in fact.

Pardon me if I sound rude in my presentation, however I just want to get the
facts to those involved.

Salve Nova Romans The staff of the Eagle would like to include a "personal column" in the newsletter.

(NO NOT A GOSSIP COLUMN)

The column would include information

submitted by YOU, the Citizens of Nova Roma about YOU , the citizens of Nova Roma.

We want to include promotions at work, college acceptance letters or new college degrees that have been conferred, the name of the upcoming book you are about to publish or where we can see you most recent article. Birth and wedding announcement, awards that you have received in your field of work or in your volunteer work, public offices that you have been elected to, military promotions, retirements. We are a community in the making and we should get to know each other better.

We would also like to include a birthday greeting to those citizens who are having a birthday in month X. We ONLY need month and day.

We are not limited to the things I have listed. Submit something and it will make the Personal Column.

Salve Postumii Tuberte:

I don't mean to pick on you. You clearly said my name was in the
moderated list, and that you had just removed it, prompted by my post.
There was no ambiguity. Please make that clear, because now you make me
look bad. And if something was overlooked, it is no big deal. I just don't
want to be listed there. It is not much the delay for the message to show
up, and I don't want to be singled out, but it scrambles the format and that
affects presentation.
