Salvete,

I don't know about anyone else, but I LIKE the new reorganization of the main
page at the Nova Roma website. Things are now easier to find, *and* there is
a new section directing people's questions to the appropriate magistrates. I
believe these new changes will make the site easier to navigate, both for new
folks and existing Citizens as well.

AVE to our new webmaster, Tarquinius Caesar! :)

Salve, Prima Ulleria Gladiatrix.

- I would add, in agreement: congratulations on having as your paterfamilas
the Potifex Maximus!

Salvete,

I'm sure having links on the side would do as well... although I'm sure our
web person doesn't want to keep readjusting it forever! The mission statement
surely is important, but so is ease of navigation. The website has rather
evolved into a place where it's hard to find anything specific so I was
pleased to see the easier links.

Again, my big favorite was a clear way to communicate with officials. People
now can easily see who to contact about what... a big step forward I think!

Valete,

Cassius

seems to me that the all-important Mission Statement (the introductory
essay) should come first; as, what reason would a visitor have for
clicking on any of the links until we'd gotten across to them what
we're about? So maybe have the link-menu on the bottom, after the
essay? >>

Subject: New Source for Roman Costume!

Salvete!

I am pleased to announce that our Censors have given approval to a new
costuming resource for Nova Roma!

Imperium Arts now offers historically accurate, natural-white wool tunics and
togas. These are quality 'reenactor quality' garments that will stand up to
years of use. All garments are made for the individual rather than mass
produced... yet response time will be quick since the work is being done by
an experienced cloak-maker/costumer.
I'll be asking our webmaster to link the info into the Macellum shortly. In
the meantime:

For details, check our the new costume website at:
<a href="http://www.imperiumarts.com/costume.html" target="_top" >http://www.imperiumarts.com/costume.html</a>

15% of the profits from the sale of garments will be going to the Nova Roma
treasury!
