Not even roast lamb with mint jelly for dinner?

Best wishes and I hope you have at least half the joy and satisfaction
which I have been blessed with in almost 22 years with my love, Anita.

Salvete,

Just wanted to post a note that the calendar section of the Nova Brittania
(New England) Provincia website has been updated for January 2000. I guess
this means that we're Y2K compatible... ;)

The address for the Nova Brittania Province website is:
<a href="http://members.aol.com/novaromanh/" target="_top" >http://members.aol.com/novaromanh/</a>

The page has a message board for Provincia and non Provincia folks alike, as
well as information on each Regio within the province, links to other
Provinces, some information on the Religio Romana, etc. The site is *always*
available through the "Collis Capitolinus" section of the Nova Roma home
page! :)

Valete,

Marcus Cassius Julianus
Senator, Proconsul

Gods!!! I thought you were married! Oh. I see. Not in the stricter form.

Salvete. (Ericius remembers the proper forms)

Here are some off the top of the cranium thoughts and bits I recall.
--The red veil fro the bride.
--The cake, salsa mola, that they offer. I have a thought that they might
have broken it.
Of course this fits in well with the wedding cake [strange how that is ;-) ]
but with
the Roman wedding the sharing the cake was a big part of the actual wedding.

Maybe the Pontifex Maximus can think of something.
--taking the auspices. Cracking an egg might be a bit odd looking, but the
person acting
as augur for you can do that in the morning before the ceremony. Having
gotten married a few summers ago I would suggest that this not be done by
the groom.
--the rings are straight out Roman (as youknow)

You'll get a lot more form others

Oh yes...

CONGRATULATIONS !!!

And remember. Backing out is not the Roman way.

Bene valete.
C. Aelius Ericius
Paterfamilias gens Aelia
Propraetor of California Provincia
Senator of Nova Roma Augur et Pontifex
