SALVE,

During the 7 days of the Saturnalia celebration in Classical Rome, voting and
legal action was not permitted during December 17th, 19th, 21st, and 23rd.
However voting and legal action was permitted in the days between.

Salvete

We are cellebrating the Saturnalia, or the return of the Golden Age, the
reign of King Saturnus. But this is not a mere festival, for it has a
meaning for the soul as well. It encloses the secret of all the Mysteries.
I tell you: Isn't Saturnus the God who taught us agriculture?
What is the symbol of the Eleusisan Mysteries other than wheat? Doesn't
wheat sprang out from the Bull's wound in the Mithraic Mysteries?
It symbolizes the Age of Gold which is to come.
The story of Saturnus teaches us not only the agriculture of land, but
also that of the soul.
Citizens, go to the temples and show your pity to the Gods, for you
need them in your long journey.

Sulla, what you have written here can best be described as 'faction'!

Ok Faction...that is originally what we called it.. :) What is the primary
difference then between a faction and a political party?
