At the end of "Caesar," her latest Roman novel, Colleen McCullough has
Pompey speculating about a future career as a general in what is now China.
I thought this was a little far-fetched, but then I saw this...

the taste buds. Where do I sign up for the inevitable tour?

Oops... My computer's clock is off by a year.
If anyone else keeps all of the posts, he'll
be seeing that one at the top of his archive
for another year's time! On account of that
inconvenience, if anyone else has a similar
habit, may he please feel free to delete my
previous post before it drives him crazy. :)

Salvete!

I would like to announce that the recent vote on the omnibus bill to amend
the Constitution has passed by an overwhelming margin. It has now gone to
the Senate for ratification. I'll let everyone know the outcome of that
vote.

Vale,
